Cameo Brooch Right-faced Bright Gold Frame

This spectacular piece is pre-owned, upcycled & embellished with jewels and pearl beads. I have no background information on it. I want to emphasize the antique design of the bright yellow gold ornate frame that borders this orange clay colored base. It's such a contrasting display that shows off the cream colored profile image. There is no indication that this is a carved shell, or not.
