Carhartt Blue Carpenter Work Jeans 40 x 31 Well Worn Washed Distressed, No Tags

Excellent quality thick denim blue Carhartt Carpenter Jeans. I bought these from a friend of mine that sells vintage clothing hoping that I could use them but my seamstress said it would be too much work to alter them to a 32. There is no tag which is why I took a gamble on them but the waist measurement is 40” and the inseam is 31” I am not sure the year this pair was produced but they are of a thicker material than my 3 other work Carhartt jeans.
