I purchased an XS because I’m between sizes. After a single week of wear, I decided XS is too small for me.
This jacket is in GREAT CONDITION - the photos and video don’t do it justice (and they highlight the minor amount of lint! 🙄 causing it to look more worn).
The color is more deep in person—a nice, navy blue—and the sort of worn look that they show in the Carhartt stock photo is much more subtle in this jacket.
Honestly, I looove this thing (cute, great quality, and so warm) and I wouldn’t be selling it if I had purchased the correct size for me.

Hi! So cute! Can I ask what you didn’t like about the XS? Any problems with the zipper(s), stains, rips, or smells?
jesszbird
I’m specifically curious about the fit of the shoulders. Did they feel too tight?
nikitaraschell
@jesszbird No, nothing at all like that. I’m just between an XS and a S, and after a week of wearing it, I realized I like the way my friend’s Small fits me better. (I have long arms, so the sleeves are a little shorter on me than I’d like - things like that.)
nikitaraschell
@jesszbird The shoulders felt ever so slightly small for me but still definitely doable. (My shoulders are also a slight bit broad.)
nikitaraschell
@jesszbird Just added an old photo of me in it. You can see how it looks like a good fit. It is pretty close to fitting how I’d like. I just don’t like when my wrists are exposed when I reach far forward and things like that.

please be honest - i am also torn between the small and xs... i am 5'6" and weigh 118. i do have long arms and a longer torso... i don't want it to be too tight but i also not super big. do you think this would be the right size. i know i cannot return on pohmark, so i just want to be sure. thank you!
ilyssacohen
also ... is there a red sticker on the right arm? i see it in the picture
nikitaraschell
@ilyssacohen Oh, that’s kinda funny! You’re describing me! I’m the same height and weight, also long arms (but not long torso). So the photo of me wearing it is a pretty spot-on view of how it’d fit you. Imo, it’s a little too tight on the hip area to wear it zipped up, and the arms fit great when I’m not reaching/stretching, but when I do reach (like, hug or similar) my wrists are definitely exposed and I have to pull the sleeve back down.
nikitaraschell
@ilyssacohen The “sticker” is actually an embroidered/stitched piece. It’s how this Carhartt jacket is. I believe it says a company name or something (I don’t have the jacket with me right now to read it).

Oh, to be clear. It’s not too tight to zip up, it’s just that when I would zip it up, it’d feel too…—like, it kinda bubbles up like the crotch of jeans do when you sit! The torso area bubbles like that and I’m just too finicky for that. So it’s not that I can’t physically zip it up - I can, and it’ll still fit if I do.
