is this a water resistant or proof piece? I'm confused bc it says it's 75% cotton 25 polyester...it be nice PC if somehow... resistant or proof

This is what I found on the Carhartt website - "Rain Defender durable water repellent (DWR) keeps you dry and moving in light rain" ... Sounds like its not water proof. Thank you for looking!
