Carl Tielsch 'CT125' 9" Relish Tray

"CT125" has pink roses, blue garland floral around the scalloped rim. Inside the bowl, there is a ribbed pattern around the side. The mark was used from 1875 - 1935. This mark is for Carl Robert Tielsch, who was a German merchant who founded a porcelain manufactory. Carl founded his factory in 1845 in Altwasser. In 1861, he was awarded the title of the Royal Trade Counsellor in acknowledgement of his contribution to the Silesian industry. The factory is still producing with a different name.
