Beautiful Carlo Fellini black satin evening bag. Has Rhinestone and Faux Pearl encrusted magnetic closure. Vintage, from the 1950’s. Black woven thread strap could be worn as a shoulder or crossbody bag. Strap can be placed inside bag to turn it into a clutch (see photos). Strap does show a little when this is done. Fun tassel detail on one side. Inside is divided with a small zippered pocket in the center. This measures 3”L x 2”D. Overall measurements are: Width 8” (across side to side) Height (top to bottom) 6” Side Opening 4” Strap Length approximately 47” with 22” drop. Excellent condition. No holes, stains or snags. Faux pearl and rhinestone clasp has all stones intact. Closure is secure.

marilynhmaher Please confirm that this bag has not noticeable smells like smoke or perfume? Does its vintage status mean that the bag is 60+ years old? Thanks-

krisal50 @marilynhmaher Hello- sorry it took me so long to respond after you liked my bag! We were out of town part of February, and I did not check my phone. To answer your question, there are no smells like perfume or smoke, or anything else from the bag. I believe it is from the 50s because it was my grandmothers. I think I was 5 to 10 years old when I remember her using it. I am 63 years old now so I think that makes it vintage status. - Kristen Lachapell 😃

krisal50 @marilynhmaher And just a sidenote, I have an iPhone 12 and it does not fit into the bag. I did not want to force it, but I could get it in lengthwise, but it does stick out and I couldn’t close the bag. I hope that you love it as much as I do! Unfortunately, I just don’t go out places anymore that I would use a bag like that. So I’d like to pass it on to someone who would get some good out of it. Thanks for your interest! marilynhmaher Thank you for your honesty- fitting in our smartphones has become a priority. My phone is 6.3 x 3.25, so a bit larger than yours. Even though the outside of the purse seems large enough, it sounds like my phone would not fit inside. Sorry to have to pass on this pretty bag.
