The soap base that is used in this soap is the same fabulously rich soap base that is used as the basis in all of our soaps. Why do we use goat milk in our products? Goat Milk has been used since ancient times as a natural cleanser. Cleopatra was said to bathe in a bath full of goat milk instead of water. It offers one of the finest moisturizers and has excellent emollient properties. The alpha-hydroxy acids contained in goat milk are believed to have effects on skin cells and the rich butterfat softens and moisturizes the skin.
