Carol Hearty Limited Edition Escargot leather cross body bag

Hand crafted in quality genuine leather. Black with dark red. It measures 11” L X 2 3/4" W X 10” H. The ball feet are leather covered and match the tassel trim. The braided leather swirl design on front of the bag looks like a Nautilus shell. The interior has 1 zip pocket. Pristine satin type lining in grey zip closure. 22" strap drop. Escargot bag from the early 2000's. Carol Hardy sold them at Philadelphia Museum craft show, Smithsonian craft show and other high end shows. Back then they went for around $250-295. She made a couple dozen in total probably. All leather, the feet are leather over wood. So this is a very limited edition example of her work.
