I never actually wore this; the waist didn't fit me. Two side pockets in the front and a zipper pocket in the back, with an interior built-in bikini. Washed and in great condition, kept in pet-friendly, non-smoking home. These shorts are black but the color may appear lighter in some photos due to lighting.
