Carved Rainbow Abalone Shell Earrings

New Handmade earrings feature rainbow abalone shells in the shape of flowers. Each shell is natural abalone (also called paua shell) and, therefore, not identical to the other. Colors range from iridescent blue, to green, bronze, and lavender. Shell flowers are each 1 3/8 inch in diameter. Sterling silver fishhooks for pierced ears. See photo 5 for how the backs of the flower shells look--this would be the natural outside part of the shell.
