Peggy gazed out at the wasteland. Jeez, sometimes post-apocalyptic living was DEPRESSING. It’s like the Monday blues, but everyday. She grabbed her water jug and her rusty butcher knife, then glanced at the map. The only fresh water source she knew of was past mole people land, but it was extra bright today, so she shouldn’t run into issues. Just needed to add yet ANOTHER layer of UV protection and deal with being extra sweaty under all the clothing and tarps. Man, she paid Greg so much money every week to read her future years ago and he never saw THIS?!? HACK. Anyway, this vest is so fabulous yet intense. Thin leather strips draped over a lace vest base. Some wear (pictured), but it’s such a statement piece that they’re not that noticeable. Or you can grab some leather glue and dab dab the strips back in place.
