Caxton Fifth Ave. Men's Dark Brown Fedora Vintage Hat, with gimp braid band and original light green feather. Dated from the 1940's. Gold stamped label on inside of hat "Made exclusively for Hirsch for men". Hirsch was a well-known clothing store in Chicago at 3215 N. Lincoln Avenue. Pre-owned, looks like it was never worn, like new condition. Use a flexible measuring tape and measure around your head from your forehead, just above your eyebrow and keeping the tape about an inch above your ears. If you don't have a flexible measuring tape use a piece of string. Take the length of string and wrap around your head until you meet back at the starting point. Hold the end point and then measure the length of string with a ruler. Hats can be resized smaller using hat reducer tape.
