I gifted this stole to my mother to wear at my Winter wedding. She only wore it the once, and looked lovely! The fur is Vintage from the 1960s, and is mink with a satin lining. ~STYLE~ Crafted from plush silvery gray fur with darker gray tones and striping, this incredibly elegant piece features a streamlined design without outer pockets and with horizontal pelts in back. Fully lined in mountain-patterned silver satin with and two interior pockets. ~SIZE~ Size unmarked, but a hard-to-find smaller size; please go by the measurements: across lying flat at bust level with lapels touching, 24"; length from shoulder in front, 27" at longest point; length in back 15"; shoulders, up to about 16". For reference, my mannequin (with arms) is a tall size 4. ~CONDITION~ The fur is lovely, clean and soft, nothing to mention. It's hard to know the original color of vintage mink, and it's likely there's been some oxidation over time, but overall the color is creamy and blue-silver, not yellowy. The lining does have a few stains and watermarks and a couple blue ballpoint swipes (see photos), but nothing drastic. There are three basted monogram blocks that could be removed. Overall a great price for this lovely silver fur!
