sac71 @njanulis Thx so much for checking out my closet Nanette! This gown is gorgeous! I wore it to for a formal wedding! To help you in case you need alterations for your daughter I measured across the back of bust line and that is 14 inches and their are some elastic insets on both sides of the back to help there. On the front it is 17 inches. Will fit a B cup or smaller C.The waist measures at 28 where the gathers are on the side which is where it should fall. Hope this helps.

njanulis @sac71 ok well she wears a 34d but the stretch is in the bust area???

sac71 @njanulis it is along the back of the bodice. I was a 36 large b small c when I wore this but I have a medium frame and actually had a the seamstress who did custom alterations add the elastic at the back to keep this from falling down and make it comfortable and adjustable/ provide movement. If her frame is smaller with her bust in the d she should be fine.

sac71 @njanulis BUT the elastic is NOT in the FRONT it is along the top edge of the back not in the bodice . So you could very well end up needing to add in a matching fabric or lace which could be done if needed. I don't want to steer you wrong and have you be disappointed!
