This is for those who questioned my items previously. I’ve studied Chanel and Hermès for over 12 years. The fact that people act as authenticators by viewing photos is absolutely wrong. It has to be seen in person or close up to validate its authenticity. You have to review not only the type of leather, but leather used in the year in which bag was issued, and where the bag was made (only in France and Italy). Check serial numbers.

If the bag states it’s Made in France, the inside plate holding CC’s will read Made in Paris; however if Made in Italy, the inner plate holding the CC’s won’t read anything. FYI - stamps never read Made in Paris.

Stitching is also another indication; Chanel HAS created bags with less than 10 stitches per diamond square- but if you counted the stitching anywhere on bag and it differs from the front to back and bottom, then it’s not authentic. If bag has 8 stitches per square on front, it should have 8 on bottom as well.

Hardware and interior logo should always match colors- silver hardware/silver logo, gold hardware/ gold logo. It also feels a bit heavier.
Straps- the straps are sewn in between the hardware which will appear seamless and have a single stitch made with no bumps unless leather is old and damaged. It’s not double stitched.
Screws- Chanel only uses flathead screws Allen screws. Never ever Phillips screws which look like an X.
