Sublimely soft, the suede is thick, supple, nicely slouchy and utterly glorious to the touch. A beautiful, warm pink shade with lilac/blue undertones, the surface finish is ultra matte and changes colour both in the light and dependant on which way the pile is brushed. As is inevitable with use, the pile will flatten and this can be noted at the edges of the flap and around the corners and top seams, though this is well camoflagued by the nature of the finish. A slight darkening, which is blended by the nap of the suede, forms a natural part of the aging of this leather. Hardware is bright and shiny, without dulling or tarnish and just the lightest hairline scratches. Lovely, large interior, divided into two main sections, the robust grossgrain lining is clean, just showing very light use.
