@luxury_peach hi! How can you make it crossbody do they sell an extender to make it cross body? Or was it supposed to come with more chain? I did not know I have one too with silver as well.

@cathyf0511 hi 👋 Yes you can buy the extender. In your east west on the left side there is a clip. Chanel made it this way to take off the chain and tuck it inside to use it as a clutch. However you can add the chain extender there.

@luxury_peach thank you so much for the information… I always wondered about the way the clip was there at one point u thought it was repaired. lol mine has the back pocket too. Mine they said was series 12 I bought it from a consigner and I love the bag I was contacting the leather surgeons to actually get the strap extended. But now I’m looking to find an extender for mine… if you know where to get mine is black caviar with silver tone hardware. Ty again

@cathyf0511 Leather Surgeons is amazing but I wouldn’t permanently altered my bag. Search on Amazon “CRAFTMEMORE Purse Chain Strap, Chain with Leather Handle, Shoulder Handbag Replacement Pochette Accessories K083 (25 Inches, Silver)” I hope that length works for you!

@cathyf0511 I used some pliers to pry off those ugly clips on both ends 😂 and purchased a bag clip similar to the Chanel one on Amazon so it would look seamless. Search “AUEAR, 5 Pack Adjustable Metal Clip Buckles for Chain Strap Bag Length Shorten Clasps Chain for Bag Accessories” Hope this helps 🥰
