Proceeds from original sale supported Trade Plus Aid, a British charity. Each teapot is made from 19 individually cut copper pieces. Copper is shaped tempered fired and etched to a solid form prior to multiple firings of hand dipped porcelain enamel. The design outline is then painstakingly applied and fired.
