skullee hi i can make a suggestion..if you put one hand inside the boot along the upper part & grab hold of the fur & then put your other hand on the outside directly opposite of your inside hand & grab the suede skin & then gently pull apart.if the fur separates from the suede skin they are def fakes.if they don't & stay together then you got the real deal.Authentic UGG Boots are made in one piece from the animal skin & DO NOT SEPARATE THE SKIN SUEDE FROM THE SHEARLING FUR.hope that helps
