A mix of Amethyst and White Quartz in a V-striped or banded pattern; Chevron, or dogtooth amethyst combines the strengthening and enhancing qualities of Quartz with the calming qualities of Amethyst. Amethyst is one of the most abundant crystals found. Amethyst derives its name from the Greek word ametusthos which means ‘not intoxicated’. For centuries, Amethyst has been thought to be useful in the prevention of drunkenness and overindulgence, which is why ancient Greeks wore amethyst and carved out drinking vessels from it. This beautiful rose carving is about 4.75 inches in length, and 1.48 inches at its widest point. thegr8fulgypsy @glittergoon_ please!!!!! If it will be carved just as this one is with the same Grade Amethyst or better.. I suppose it would be called placing a custom order!! So I would like to do that please!!!!

thegr8fulgypsy @glittergoon_ As u can tell I am a pretty big crystal enthusiast. My daughter is just starting into get to both the gemology & the geology just like her mama & we have both (just recently) started to add cravings to our collections. It’s always scary though to be sure you are buying from a credible seller. So again, I am so happy I found you!

I will contact them to have it started asap. this one is chevron amethyst "dream amethyst" if that's the same material you'd like

thegr8fulgypsy @glittergoon_ My first choice would absolutely be Amethyst! Second would be Dragons Blood, ANY type of plum & Pink Tourmaline is my ultimate favorite. I’m not sure what Crystals they have to offer that are hard enough & able to be carved in such a way. But to keep it simple I would love Chevron. …….

thegr8fulgypsy @glittergoon_ Good evening, have you enquired about this carving? I have a few others in mind as well. I wish I could communicate them to you in an easier way than this. I am very interested in purchasing several. Carvings for me are the hardest to find at a good price & a true quality carving on a crystal I like. So I am very excited to potentially be able to do this with you.
