Chi Rho cross hand carved in old growth cherry with adjustable lanyard

This piece is hand carved in old growth cherry wood harvested in the 1950s or earlier. Each piece is finished with food grade mineral oil and provided with an adjustable black lanyard. The Chi Rho christogram is made up of the first two letters of the Greek word for "Christ". The symbol is formed by combining the Greek letters chi (Χ) and rho (Ρ).
