tissiet I'm so sorry to hear that your daughters gown was stolen! Unfortunately, I think it will be way too long for her. I am 5'8 and 112lbs and I am wearing 4" platform heels. If you are familiar with Chiara Boni gowns they are made of a scuba type fabric and they don't have a hem...you simply cut it off to shorten. However, this dress has an organza overlay so I don't know how easy it is to cut. I would take it to a seamstress. I love this company's gowns because they are long and I'm tall
