Chinese FAMILLE ROSE MEDALLION Bread Plates / Rare Antiques From Late 1800’s

China began producing Famille Rose porcelain in the 1700’s and introduced Rose Medallion (a central medallion surrounded by four or more panels of people and flowers) around 1820. This pair of bread plates can be dated to around 1880 by the raised designs and good quality of the hand painting. Each plate measures 5.5 inches wide by 1 inch thick. Both are in excellent condition for their age with no chips or cracks, just some minor firing flaws typical of the time period.
