Traditional Ming dynasty hanfu - modified "horse face"/"mamian" skirt (明制马面裙) 1 dark blue skirt with printed pattern near skirt trim (details in images 2 and 3). Skirt only! This is a traditional, full length Ming dynasty skirt and designed to fall to your ankle or feet. The skirt is sheer, you must wear an underskirt, leggings, or some type of garment underneath! Don't be intimidated by this traditional style! Today, hanfu is frequently mixed and matched with modern pieces - see last image for example.
