This is a Chinese porcelain tile made by Li Gui Mei in the 1800's. It is in good condition with minor chipping along the edge. It was framed but the frame was aweful. It was also glued to a backing as you can see in the pictures, this can be removed by soaking the tile. There is an area on either side of the peacock on the bottom of the tile that has an overglaze paint which was intentionally done by the artist. (See pictures) It has calligraphy and I was told the translation for the artist name is Li Gui Mei.
It is 10.5" x 7.75" framed
9 5/8" x 6 7/8" just the tile.
