melissatee Hi! Do these fit similar to the nude sling backs I commented on a few weeks ago? (Promise I haven’t forgotten, life/kids got in the way. So sorry!) I’m a standard 8.5 and 39 in most other designers. If so, thinking of making an offer on both pairs!

cocojeanne @melissatee Louboutin runs like an entire size small in my opinion on most styles - so you’re comparing italian designer 39, usually that is 1/2 size small on average which makes sense why it fits your 8.5 size. I find French sizing to be full size diff, like chanel/louboutin)

melissatee @cocojeanne Thank you so much for the info. I actually just had a pair of CL booties to try and the 39.5 was too small. So disappointed. I’m hoping the pumps run differently? If you have time, maybe a measurement will help. I’m really wanting to take both pairs off your hands.

cocojeanne @melissatee I also had that experience with both Louboutin and Chanel boots particularity running about 1.5 sizes small in the conversion. The sling backs are more forgiving I think too. These both fit me perfect when I was a 8/8.5, but my feet changed after pregnancy and stayed that way to 9/9.5 — so they no longer fit.

cocojeanne @melissatee I am so bummed, as you can see I have started to list my massive shoe collection and have even more to list in the future. That said, I measured the insole measurement on both shoes and it’s 10” or just a hair over that.

melissatee @cocojeanne Thank you so much for letting me know. I just measured a pair of my Valentino’s 39, and the sole was 10 and three-quarter inches. Sadly I don’t think that either will work. Thank you so much again for taking the time to message, measure, and keep me updated on status. If you have any other of your shoes that are true 8 1/2, I look forward to seeing you post them for sale!
