I have machine washed, dried and steamed this shirt, however, it doesn't really require much to keep the wrinkles out. It hardly wrinkles. I would consider this lightweight and perfect for going to outdoor social events, something to wear to work then go straight to the bar afterwards, or a walk on the beach. Pair it with jeans, or shorts, it's versatile.
