Chrome Ashtray Circa 1980s This is a very cool object. You could totally use it as an ashtray (no judgement here). But it’s also a swell trinket holder / ring dish / candy corn holder. It would definitely be heavy enough to use as a self defense item - although it’s far to lovely for that. It’s definitely a statement piece, of sorts. I love it, however I am attempting to downsize and simplify my life and this doesn’t exactly scream “simple.” I wish I knew more about it… it’s been in my family since Ronald Reagan was in office.
