Circa 1800s? Osborne Day & Night London Glass Brass 4 Draw Telescope Naval 31”

This antique telescope, spyglass, looking glass, manufactured by Osborne in London, is a must-have for collectors of maritime instruments. Crafted from brass it features four pull-out sections and a glass for clear viewing day or night. Its origins trace back possibly to the British Royal Navy? I do believe it is very old, but I cannot guarantee it is from the 1800’s. I tried my best to look up others like it, but finding solid brass 4 pull was difficult. It is easy to pull, featured removable lens covers to clean glass, and is in great shape. The only flaw I see is one dent which is pictured so please reference photos.
