With Citizen eco drive watches, they don't take normal batteries. They are charged with any kind of light source. Whether it's sunlight or an indoor light. You might want to try putting it next to a lamp or in a window sill.

@mshufnagel76 oh no I just checked on my watch and the date seems to be changing manually but the arms don't seem to be moving🙁 I'm glad you pointed out that the other watch was faulty otherwise I would've have known this one needs repairing because I haven't used in in years, sorry about that

@mshufnagel76 great! I'm sorry I forgot I had it on hold and was going to ask you if you were still interested (I didn't see your comment)! So far so good the watch is working under the sunlight. However I think if it spends too much time away from the sun it will delay, I'm unsure how this type of watch works but definitely if it stays under the light it works!
