Clarice Cliff was a ceramics designer for several English firms including Royal Staffordshire. She worked with Colley Shorter creating 'Bizarre Ware' in the 1930s, attracting buyers during the depression. Her work became collectable due to her design of decorative pattern and shape of an object. Her pieces are exhibited in several museums , including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
