Clarice Cliff design Royal Staffordshire, England Blossom Time Small Platter Ceramic Design: floral, blooming branches Vintage Approximate Measurements Rim Diameter 12.5" x 8.5" Pre-owned. Very Good Condition several marks on front and back - I've not been able to remove, partly due to fear of damaging the platter. Can not be Bundled I also have the large platter listed. Clarice Cliff was a ceramics designer for several English firms including Royal Staffordshire. She worked with Colley Shorter creating 'Bizarre Ware' in the 1930s, attracting buyers during the depression. Her work became collectable due to her design of decorative pattern and shape of an object. Her pieces are exhibited in several museums , including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
