Clark & Coombs antique Edwardian 10kt gold filled red pink gemstone baby ring

Excellent antique condition with some rubbing to gold fill on lower outer band. After much researching, I'm still not sure what the marking "B.G." stands for after the purity mark of 10K G.F. indicating gold filled but I think it's quite possible that it stands for bohemian garnet for the droolworthy solitaire genuine gemstone used in this ring. Looks almost pink in some lighting and does not test as a ruby would. Gold fill definitely has a rosy tint that perfectly compliments the stone. This ring is very tiny at size 1.5 so can be strung onto a necklace and worn as a pendant or added to a charm bracelet.
