I don’t believe I’ve ever worn these. They are very comfortable but my ankles can no longer tolerate heels so I cannot wear them. They are beautiful and in pristine condition. There is cushioning that goes around the Achilles heel as seen in the last pic. Very versatile shoe for all seasons
