The word Hanukkah is etched in Hebrew as well as a graphic of an oil lamp. It is lit during the eight-day Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. Eight of the nine branches hold lights that symbolize the eight nights of the holiday; on each night, one more light is lit than the previous night, until on the final night all eight branches are ignited. The ninth candle in the center is called the shamash (or, helper candle) and is lit and used to light the other eight. Menorah measures 9.25" x 5" x 2.25" Base is 5” x 3” Is in excellent condition!
