AGE: C.1960/70 - purchased in Canada or the UK. ITEM: A Baracuta Four Climes - Made in England trench coat with 8 button front, right side gun flap, shoulder loops, 2 outer pockets, 2 inner pockets, waist belt, 2 sleeve belts AND with the removable inner wool lining. MAKER: Baracuta was, and still is, a contemporary of the other "B" name and, with certain items of clothing, just as pricey. While the short wind breakers are more well known (Steve McQueen owned one as well as James Dean and Daniel Craig has worn them in the James Bond films), Barracuta's trench coat is still a marvel of British manufacture! CONDITION: Pretty darn nice for its age. The coat has that "lived in" look - I mean, you know just by looking at it that it is not new but "was loved". It's the sort of coat that Bogie would have worn in Casablanca - time honored - taken care of but having seen time! No holes that I can spot in the canvas. Inner lining is good - button holes haven't unraveled so it goes in clean when buttoned to the main coat. Overall, a perfect trench coat that looks good even today! LABELS: Baracuta "B" Over a Lion/Four Climes - Made in England Label on the coat. 51% Cotton/49% Polyester label on the inside left of the coat. The inner wool lining has the 100% wool tag as shown. SIZE: My father was 6' tall and was just slightly padded when he wore. The inner tag of the coat states 44 Long. (CONTACT ME FOR THE REST OF THE DESCRIPTION)

acbacb94 @oncewornjewels hi! Do you have the chest and length measurements? Also I would love a picture of the buckles.

oncewornjewels @acbacb94 Good lord - I didn't realize there was a word limit on description - this is what is missing - Length from top of shoulder down to bottom - 48" Armpit to Armpit - 22" Waist (where the two pockets are): 24" Width of sleeve - 7" Neck - 19-1/2" I, myself (female), am a size 18 at 5' 9-1/2" tall. I could wear this trench myself but it would need to be taken in a smidge. So if a lady is thinking of this beauty - a seamstress can work miracles, I think.

oncewornjewels @acbacb94 I just looked again - yes, there are buckles at the arm bottoms. Both appear to be brown leather with stitching all around. A little bit of fraying but they are in good condition. I will try to get a pic once I get my camera out again. Thanks for looking.
