@mom2kateandtrap Greetings, the elastic part put to pit measures 36” unstretched & the fabric below measures 40”+ (as it is a somewhat flared toward the bottom. Thanks for your interest :)

@sandrac627 Hi! the elastic at the top is 18” across & has some stretch! I think the top is TTS for a size Large, it’s a roomy fit & would def accommodate a 38 bust hope this helps & thanks for your interest :)
