Clipper Ship Glass Handled Mug, Beer Stein with History

This mug has an etched picture of a Clipper ship with the ships history etched on the back of the mug. The mug measures 5-1/2” tall, 3-1/2” base, 3-3/4” handle and a rim diameter of 3”. The mug holds 14oz. and has no chips, cracks, or scratches, the etching is bold and free of any fading.. Excellent vintage condition! The etched history on the back of mug reads: “CLIPPER- First built in 1450, Clippers were considered the most beautiful and romantic of all sailing ships in the mid 1800’s. The 200 feet long ship brought tea to the U.S. from China, wool from Australia, and took passengers to California during the 1849 Gold Rush” This mug would be an excellent gift for any collector of history or nautical memorabilia.
