The hardware is tarnished and scratched but is in great working condition. There are two small dark spots on the back as pictured. The inside bottom shows minor wear. The leather is supple and slightly mottled with many natural wrinkles and veins which is common of the glove-tanned cowhide used by Coach during that era. I think it adds to the beauty to the pack. It has been thoroughly cleaned and conditioned inside and out and is ready to wear.
