There are a few light scuffs from normal use, but could be easily remedied with some leather conditioner or cleaner. I've used it for a week to carry two hardback books in and a small notebook for work. Got lots of compliments on it. It is soft sided and I just need something a little more structured. But for just being out and about its perfect.
