Coach Small Hippie Flap Bag, Black Leather, Style 9135

Great condition, some curling/wear on ends of straps (pictured) Beautiful soft leather is front and center on this bag. Full length front flap. The strap attaches with rectangular nickel buckles imprinted with the Coach name. Inside is unlined and the back of the leather is velvety soft. There is a zippered interior pocket with the Coach creed patch with style number 9135. Bag was made in Costa Rica in 2002. Includes Coach leather hangtag. Measures 9 1/2" tall x 9" long with 20-23" strap drop. This simple saddle bag design is a variation on a silhouette first introduced by Bonnie Cashin in late 1960's. There have been a number of versions with adjustments to the size and proportions, from the original Saddle Bag (9210), to the Crescent Bag (9235), the Pony Express Pouch (9670), and Faith's Legacy Bag (9949) to name some of them. This version was introduced in 1999 and called the Hippie Flap Bag, available in three different sizes. This listing is for a Small Hippie Flap Bag which was the middle size. The smaller version was the Mini Hippie Flap and the larger version was simply The Hippie Flap.
