Founded in 2000, Coclico was born out of a desire to create quality shoes with a contemporary edge. The brand is grounded in the belief that style should be effortless and understated, yet never compromise on craftsmanship or quality. Coclico, pronounced co-klee-co, is a creative spelling of "coquelicot," French for poppy flower. The poppy grows abundant in the region of France where Coclico founder, Sandra Canseiler, grew up learning the trade of cordwainer in her family atelier. Our name references our respect for nature and reverence for our craft.
