This beautiful vintage Colclough tea cup and saucer set was made in England over the period from 1960 to 1969 years. The set is pale blue and white in color with hand painted small blue and purple flowers. The cup is marked on the underside base with the words, "Colclough, Bone China, C 6, Made in England", and the number, which is unreadable. The cup is marked on the underside base with the words, "Colclough, Bone China, B 9, Made in England".
This set hasn't been used, it is in excellent condition without chips, cracks, gold loss, crazing, or repairs. The saucer has a manufacturing glaze flaw on the edge (shown in the red circle) and a few light scratches at the center where the cup rests. The cup doesn't have any scratches.
The round saucer flares upwards slightly from a smaller round base, with a top diameter of 5-1/2" and an underside base diameter of about 1-3/4". The cup itself is 2-7/8" in height, with a top opening diameter of around 3-3/8" and 1-3/4" for the base. The greatest width from the outside of the curved handle to the opposite side is 4-1/4".
The set will be shipped securely wrapped with bubble wrap, packed in a box enclosed within another larger box. Please refer to the photos, they were taken by me and show the actual cup and saucer available for purchase.
