Collection necklace "Time Flies" (when you're having fun) Claudia Myers Design

I make pieces for my original series "Time Flies," using non-working but still pretty, watches paired with something that flies-a butterfly, in this case. The premise being "Time flies when you're having fun". This necklace was re-constructed using vintage pieces-a sterling butterfly brooch, a chunky silvertone 1960s necklace a 1930s Art Deco woman's watch and embellished with two sterling silver tiny roses and leaves. The necklace measures 18", but can be lengthened. As it is, it lays beautifully and comfortably around collarbone level. It is certainly a conversation-starter.
