Collector Item: HBO series The Wire Tennis shoes worn by Michael K Williams/Omar

HBO’s series The Wire aired for 5 years back in the early 2000’s. Rated by many critics as the Best Television Dramatic series of all time, these sneakers were worn by arguably the shows number one character, Omar, played by the late Michael K Williams! Omar’s claim to fame was that he robbed drug dealers and word spread quickly when he was on the prowl. He carried a shotgun and when he hit the streets dope dealers dispersed in all directions. That’s me Detective Michael Crutchfield with Michael at the final New York City cast party in 2007. These FUBU sneakers, FOR US BY US represent a major era of television history. They will only increase in value as time moves on! Quick Footnote: my character Det Michael Crutchfield was at the liquor store where Omar had been murdered overlooking his dead body!
