It has the material on the inside that keeps your body hear in. I’d say it does a good job! I have loved this coat and kept it in excellent condition for a few years now. I am 5’8” and can easily fit a sweatshirt under this. Goes a little past my bum. Slimmer look, doesn’t make you look huge or boxy. Hood has faux fur attachment via buttons (need to confirm I still have this in a bin, stay tuned!) Make an offer!
