Excellent, versatile youth jacket has a waterproof outer shell with hood and snow guard lining (elastic and snap interior peplum keeps snow from going up inside the shell). The interior liner is a separate down jacket that with the omni-heat reflective fabric; it can be attached to the shell (zipped in and snapped). This is a great three-season coat: rain/windbreaker shell for spring and fall (without the down jacket liner), warm light down jacket is great for comfortable car travel in the wintertime when the bulk of a waterproof shell isn't needed. Bought for our son when he was ten, passed down to his sister. Style and graphical pattern (white, green, orange, gray, aqua) worked great for both kids.
