This solid 14K yellow gold Universal Geneve Tank watch with Speidel metal watchband has been gently used and works. Originally, the Tank was a line of watches made by Louis Cartier and inspired by the new FT-17 Renault tanks which he saw in use on the Western Front during the first World War. The watch somehow manages to be both rectangular and square, borrowing lines from its namesake. It was the watch of choice of First Lady Jackie Kennedy.
