The bra and shorts is all one piece and does not separate. The crisscross straps are adjustable. I think this is true to size. I generally wear a size 4US in dresses, 36B, 5’5” and about 130 lbs and this was comfortable. This is all stretchy material. The dress fabric is buttery soft and moves well. The shorts stayed down.
