Converse leather hiking shoes size 8 but fit like a 7.5

Size 8 converse hiking shoes. Padded with support and cushion. They are just a bit small for me. Fit more like a 7.5. They do have some scuffing to the fabric as well as stones stuck in the groves. Worn once hiking in the mountains. Just too small for me.
